According to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com the Seattle Seahawks fired head coach Jim Mora on the afternoon of January 8, 2010. Leslie Frazier, current defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings, is said to be an early favorite to replace Mora.http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/08/seahawks-fire-jim-mora/1

In his only season with the Seahawks, Mora led the team to a 5-11 record, placing third in the NFC West and failing to qualify for the playoffs.http://www.nfl.com/teams/seattleseahawks/coaches?coaType=head&team=SEA2 The season however was better than Seattle's 2008 campaign under the leadership of Mike Holmgren, finishing 4-12.
